Our children and young people are important members of our church and hold a special place in our church family.  There are therefore services and activities particularly designed for them.

We usually hold our Family Service on the first Sunday of each month to give our whole church family the opportunity to worship, learn and pray together across the generations. There are also special services at Christmas, Mothering Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Day and at Harvest Festival. Our children and young people play an active role in the readings, prayers and music along with the grown-ups.

ABC: Adults, Babies, Children

ABC is for all under-5s and accompanying adults. It takes place in church at 11am on the third Wednesday of every month (unless indicated otherwise due to holidays). We have a story, action songs and prayers. This is followed by a craft activity and refreshments in the Jubilee Room. We are usually joined by the children attending our Montessori Pre-School. All are welcome. If you would like further details, please contact the Vicar by phone or email.

Also, why not come along to the monthly Family Services when the children are invited to play an active part in our worship.

Sunday Club

Our group for ages 3-10.  We meet in the Jubilee Room attached to the church on Sundays at 10am during school term-time (except when we are all in church together for our Family Services).  The children take part in games, quizzes, crafts, stories, drama and singing before joining the adults in church for a blessing at the end of the communion service, when they also tell us what they have been learning and doing that morning.

For more details please contact Mrs Anne Taylor (tel: 01483 278131).
