Services at Christ Church

We offer a range of opportunities for worship, learning and fellowship on both a regular and an occasional basis. See what's on and the parish magazine for details of future services and seasonal variations.

First Sunday each month

8.00am  Holy Communion - a said service, using the Book of Common Prayer (BCP).  Around 40 minutes.

10.00am Family Service - a more informal service for all ages, without Holy Communion.  Our children, young people and adults are involved in taking the service.  Around an hour. Followed by coffee, tea, squash and biscuits in the Jubilee Room.

6.30pm  Choral Evensong - our choir lead us in this traditional and much-loved BCP service.  Around 40 minutes.

Other Sundays

8.00am  Holy Communion (BCP).  Around 40 minutes.   

10.00 am Holy Communion (Common Worship) - a sung service, in contemporary language with choir and sermon. Sunday Club for children aged 3 -10 in the Jubilee Room attached to the church. Around an hour. Followed by coffee, tea, squash and biscuits in the Jubilee Room.

Third Wednesday each month

11.00am ABC (Adults, Babies, Children) - a short service with action songs, story and prayers in church followed by a craft activity and refreshments in the Jubilee Room.  For all under 5s and accompanying adults.

Lunch and more

Twice-termly Holy Communion (CW) - a weekday service (usually to mark a festival) in church followed by two-course lunch in the Jubilee Room.  All are welcome to join us.  See What's on for forthcoming dates and contact details.
