Supporting our church
We cannot exist without your help. Christ Church relies entirely on donations by our members and others in the community to fund all our activities and maintain our buildings and churchyard. Our church is open every day for both parishioners and visitors, including our local schools and those visiting graves in the churchyard.
Regular donations account for most of our income, generally through Gift-Aided standing orders/direct debits, together with collections at services. We are also grateful for one-off gifts and legacies, which have enabled us to undertake several major projects such as resurfacing the paths in the churchyard, laying new carpet in the church and improving the facilities in our church halls.
Should you wish to know more about regular donations, legacies or how you can support us in other ways, please contact our Treasurer Tony Robinson (01483 229141; firstname.lastname@example.org) or our Planned Giving Officer David Healey (01483 893607; email@example.com). Or click here.
Our major challenge in 2019 and in the years ahead
Over the next three years the cost of serving our community and keeping our church and churchyard open is increasing significantly, and consequently we need to increase the number of people willing to make regular contributions to our funds. Please see the details below and/or come along to our Open Day on Wednesday, 20 March 2019 (drop in any time between 3pm to 8pm) to learn more.
